World Cup winning Team India manager and Odisha Cricket Association president Ranjib Biswal said that a cricket academy would be established soon in Sambalpur a bid to boost up the game in western Orissa.
It would be at a preliminary cost of Rs 35 lakh, he informed and added that there would be efforts to search for the hidden talents from the rural areas as cricket is the game of both the poor and middle class. Biswal was here in the Pres Club during a felicitation ceremony after the World Cup victory of Team India.
After the welcome address by the Press Club vice-president said he is proud of being the manager of the winning team of the cricket World Cup, while it had been a big challenge to manage the India team during the entire world cup matches.
