On Sunday Afternoon ( 10th July ), five person including four women were killed in a road accident at Patharla near Sohela in Bargarh District. Vehicle carrying the passengers collided head-on with a loaded truck travelling from the opposite direction & accident happened. Local people & police rushed to the spot & helped injured people. Injured were sent to the the Bargarh government hospital & then VSS medical College. Minimum 10 persons, mostly females from Tora village of Bargarh district, had gone to Dusmiles where they were engaged in construction work. The group was travelling on the mini-truck. As per Police investigation, the mini-truck was travelling at an alarming speed and the driver was not able to control the vehicle and hit the truck, killing five on the spot.
